The California Harness Horsemen’s Association (CHHA) is now accepting nominations for inductees for its class of 2007 Hall of Fame.

Nominations fall into one of two groups, people and horse. People that have contributed significantly to California harness racing as a breeder, an owner, a trainer, or a driver and/or through organizational leadership or people that have achieved national prominence in one of the foregoing categories and have significant California attachments will be considered.  Horses that have achieved prominence in racing or reproduction and should have done so in California or have been outstanding in racing or breeding and whose breeders, owners, or trainers are or were residents of California will be given due consideration.

Nominations will be accepted electronically at http://www.chhaonline.com/hall_of_fame/nomination_form.shtml.  In the alternative, interested parties can print out the form at the above address and mail it to the CHHA at the address on the web site (www.chhaonline.com).

Nominations will be accepted through December 31, 2007 and winners will be announced at the annual CHHA meeting in March.
