Dates Set for Cal Expo Fall Harness Meeting
Cal Expo Harness Association has received approval for the dates for
their fall meeting, with opening night set for Friday, August 26 and the
trotters and pacers in action through Saturday, December 17. The
approval came at the Thursday, June 23 meeting of the California Horse
Racing Board.
The first three weeks of the meet will consist of Friday and Saturday
programs, with a three-day per week schedule beginning September 15 with
Thursday, Friday and Saturday cards on tap. The one exception will be no
racing on Thanksgiving, Thursday November 24.
